| Toys "R" Us opened its 6th store in Chongqing |
| Toys “R” Us, one of the world’s leading retail brands, opened its 6th store in China, in Chongqing on August 2nd, 2008. This is its first store in Southwest China since Toys "R" Us opened its first flagship store in Shanghai in September of 2006. Chongqing has quickly become one of the most important cities in China, a fact that clearly influenced the company’s decision to open a store there. The new Toys “R” US carries more than 3,000 kinds of toys, including wooden toys, plush toys, baby strollers and bicycles, outdoors and sports equipment, and a great deal more. Toys "R" Us will maintain its effective low price strategy as it increases its revenue throughout China. |

| Chinese Toys exports grow stable in 2008 |
| During the first half of 2008, China exported US$ 9.66 billion worth of toys, an increase of 30.2 percent over the same period in 2007. China exported US$ 3.32 billion USD worth of traditional toys, an increase of 1.94 percent. Meanwhile, China imported US$ 328 million worth of toys during the first half of 2008, a slight decrease of 1.5 percent over the same period last year. The Chinese toy industry clearly continues to maintain a vast competitive advantage and is well positioned to confront market pressures, including the appreciation of the RMB, cost increasing and others.
