Visitors¡¯ registration tracking far ahead of last year |
Early response to CTE2008 registration efforts shows that we are 34% ahead of last year at this time. As of the end of June, we have a total of 4,406 registrants (buyers and trade guests) including 3,316 registered buyers from 35 counties and regions. Over 1,454 international buyers, importers, big retailers are represented; including such major names as Toys ¡°R¡± Us, King Jouet, Learn¡¯s Play Toy, Wal-Mart, and Carrefour.
Part of the excitement is no doubt due to the pre-registration system: a new-for-¡¯08 online matchmaking tool and will enables registrants to make appointment with exhibitors before the FAIR and have productive visit to CTE2008.

The ¡°Product Highlight¡± section will give you the latest information on exhibitors and exhibiting products for your market orientation and offers many new services to help you organize your fair visit.
Wooden Toys is one of the highlights at CTE2008. We have exhibitors from all of main manufacturing areas, including Yunhe, Yiwu, Huangyan and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province and some other places in China. Many exhibitors will continue to attend the FAIR with their -quality and reliable products after several years¡¯ participation, such as Happy Arts & Carts, Xinyun Wooden Industry, Top-Bright Toy etc. Besides these big toy manufacturers, we have more than 30% of new wooden toy exhibitors. Some of them never participated in other exhibitions before. There is no doubt that visitors who are interested in Wooden Toys will have chance to meet different manufacturers, whatever they are old exhibitors or newcomers, small or big companies. It is a first time for these exhibitors to present their newest products designed for 2009 specially.
Since Zhejiang Province is quite nearby Shanghai, it is easy for you to visit factories by 1-4 hours driving from Shanghai by car, and you can reach there by taking plan or train.

| Easy Steps to visit toy manufacturers after CTE |
There are more than 10 centralized production regions nearby Shanghai. The products categories cover wooden toys, plush toys, baby strollers and bicycles, outdoors and sports toys, festival articles, inflatable toys, and others. The distance of these production regions are between 1-5 hours driving from Shanghai by car, and you can reach there by taking plan or train.
There are three easy steps to arrange your factory visiting.
1. Review the exhibitor list and decide which toy factory you would like to visit.
2. Contact the exhibitor to enquire the information including transportation.
3. Coordinate your trip to different plants and finalize travel itinerary.

| CTA president had meeting with manufactures in wooden production region |
| On June 7-8th, the president SHI, xiaoguang and Executive VP May Liang of China Toy Association (CTA) paid a visit to some factories in Huangyan city of Zhejiang Province. CTA leaders also had a meeting with more than 30 factory leaders. All the leaders expressed the business difficulties because of the depreciation of US dollar, increase of raw materials and labor cost, and duplicated products testing. Mr. SHI encouraged all factories try to get buyers¡¯ understanding about the price increase for the sake of long time cooperation. CTA also invited SGS to provide free training to these factories about the latest safety requirements. Huanyan is one of the major production region making wooden toys and crafts. Factories produce products for Disney, First act, Toys R Us and other big brands. |
